Why not think of becoming a Volunteer at St. Alexius Medical Center!

St. Alexius Medical Center is looking for compassionate, dedicated and interested individuals who would like to be part of our Volunteer team. We currently have over 300 generous and talented people who volunteer their time at St. Alexius Medical Center and we are always seeking new individuals like yourself to become part of our team. There are two options available to apply, by saving your completed application to your computer and email to Monica.Eorgoff@stalexius.net or by mailing the completed form to the Volunteer Department located at 1555 Barrington Road, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169.

Who can become a volunteer?

  • Individuals who are 14 years old or freshman level in high school and older can volunteer one day a week for a minimum of four hours for 6 months.

What are the requirements?

  • Fill out a volunteer application.
  • Volunteers will attend a mandatory interview and orientation session.
  • Those born after January 1, 1957 must provide documentation of their MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) vaccination. All volunteers need to provide documentation of a current TB test.
  • Purchase of a volunteer uniform for a nominal fee.
