Developmental-Behavioral Clinic: A Multi-disciplinary Approach

School-age children

• Complete medical, developmental, behavioral, and psycho-educational evaluation
• Evaluate children with academic, behavioral, and/or social-emotional problems
• Common conditions diagnosed in this clinic include: ADHD, learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities, Asperger syndrome, autism, emotional disorders, and social-emotional delays

Preschool-age and younger children

• Complete medical, developmental, and behavioral evaluation
• Common conditions diagnosed in this clinic include: autism, communication disorders, specific or global developmental delays, and cerebral palsy

NICU Follow Up Clinic

• Complete medical evaluation by a developmental pediatrician
• Neonatology consult is also available to advise families and primary care physicians about medical issues related to the patients’ preterm birth
• Assessment of motor development and screening for feeding, speech-language, and social development

Down Syndrome Clinic

• Complete medical evaluation by a developmental pediatrician that specializes in patients with Down syndrome
• Assessment of motor development and screening for feeding, speech-language, and social development
• Psychology services also available
