Talking with Your Child About Their Hospital Visit
Going to the hospital can be frightening and overwhelming for a child. However, the more a child knows about what to expect, the more comfortable he or she will be. Be honest, and use simple words to explain why they are going to the hospital. Let your child know that you will be with them and can spend the night with them.
