The Alexian Brothers Pediatric Services blends the accessibility of a community hospital with the leading-edge knowledge and expertise of a children’s research hospital. Families in northern Illinois no longer have to drive long distances to receive world-class care. Alexian Brothers Pediatric Services offers a full range of specialty services, has over 60 specialists and sub-specialists on staff and includes a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and kid-friendly emergency care departments. Future goals include the building of a world-class children’s hospital on the campus of St. Alexius Medical Center.

Pediatrics Fund at Alexian Brothers Medical Center: Our children are not only are our most precious relationships but they also hold our hopes and dreams for the future. That's why Alexian Brothers Pediatric Services is devoted to providing the best pediatric care that is available. Your donation to pediatrics care has a direct impact on the quality of life of young patients in the hospital. Community members can make a cash donation or purchase one of many items on the pediatrics wish list, including a bead maze activity center, blanket warmer, pop-up books, music CDs, and handheld games as well as diversional items used during procedures, such as ceiling projections, soothing sound machines, and special pediatric chairs for blood draws. Sponsorship of the pediatric unit is a way for corporations and civic groups to have a meaningful impact on the health of the communities in which they live and work.
