Dr. Joseph Newberg Biography

Dr. Joseph Newberg is an occupational health physician with Alexian Brothers Health Systems and the principal physician at Schaumburg corporate health clinic. His special interests include wellness, sports medicine, alternative medicine, and acute care. He is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

His interest in wellness has been a product of significant experience with acute illness and injury and a desire to take a more active roll in prevention. The evolution of medicine with innovative technologies will bring ample opportunity for increasingly more effective disease prevention and treatment. Dr. Newberg desires to take an active roll in spearheading the implementation of these resources to better serve and treat our diverse population.

Dr. Newberg is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine, 1993. He went on to complete an internship and residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine and is board certified in Family Medicine.
