If your physician decides that you would benefit from specific nutritional services, a dietitian will visit you in your room. Each hospital floor is staffed with friendly dietitians who can make sure the food you eat while in the hospital is right for you. They can also provide nutrition education for your return home. For further education or nutrition counseling, outpatient nutrition services are available. 

Certified nutrition support dietitians are also available for patients who are tube-fed. Our nutrition support dietitians follow standardized guidelines set by the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. This means that they are able to give you the best care possible whether you are receiving long-term tube feeding for a chronic illness or short-term tube feeding following surgery.
