Aphasia & Apraxia Conversation Support Group
Time: Every Wednesday from 10-11 a.m.

Open to all persons who have aphasia or apraxia as a result of their stroke. It provides people with the opportunity to practice their speech and understanding of speech with others who experience similar difficulties. Second Chance for Survivors Support Group

All survivors of a stroke, head injury or other neurological injury are welcome as well as spouses, friends and caregivers. Weekly meetings alternating Tuesdays and Thursdays with designated topics. Quarterly flyer sent upon request with date, time, and topic. Call 847-437-5500 extension 4844.

Educational program for stroke survivors and their families and friends who may be new to stroke.
Stroke Telephone Call-In Support Group
Monthly events held 8-10 times/year by phone for caregivers and survivors of stroke. Monthly speakers address a variety of topics related to stroke. This initiative is held in collaboration with American Stroke Assoication, Stroke Survivors Empowering Each Other (SSEEO) and Alexian Brothers Neurosciences Institute.
