Comprehensive Services for Complex Concerns
Neuropsychology is a specialty profession that focuses on brain function. A neuropsychologist is an expert in how behavior and skills are related to brain structures and systems. Neuropsychological assessment is a proven method of evaluation sensitive to brain dysfunction even in cases for which imaging, such as CT or MRI, does not indicate abnormality.
Our expert neuropsychologists conduct a very detailed and comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, which involves an interview and numerous tests, to determine a pattern of abilities and cognitive strengths/weaknesses, which is used in diagnosis, treatment planning, and prognosis/disposition planning. It is critical that these tests be interpreted by an experienced neuropsychologist. Only an experienced and specially trained neuropsychologist conducts such a comprehensive assessment and offers an accurate diagnosis based on the results. An accurate diagnosis means proper treatment can be started right away so that improvement can be seen as soon as possible.
