John S. Ebersole, M.D.
Medical Director, IL MEG Center
Dr. Ebersole is Professor of Neurology and Director of the Adult Epilepsy Center and Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory at the University of Chicago. He is recognized as a world authority on the use of MEG and EEG in the evaluation of patients with seizure disorders. Dr. Ebersole is an author of nearly 100 papers and book chapters on clinical neurophysiology as applied to epilepsy. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Neurophysiology and immediate past president of the Clinical Neurophysiology Section of the American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Stein brings his experience as an Epileptologist with Rush University Medical Center and Alexian Brothers Medical Center. In addition, he has a graduate degree in Learning Disabilities and worked with children with disabilities for 5 years. Dr. Stein also has 5 years of industry experience as an electrical engineer including one patent awarded.

Susan M. Ebersole, R.EEG T.
Manager and Data Analyst, IL MEG Center
Ms. Ebersole has twenty years of experience in EEG and MEG recording and analysis. She was manager and chief-technologist of the Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory of Yale-New Haven Hospital, manager of the Adult Epilepsy Center at the University of Chicago, and manager of the Chicago MEG Center in Hyde Park before assuming the role of data analyst and manager of the MEG Center here at Alexian. She is an expert in the use of sophisticated source-modeling software for both MEG and EEG, and as such she frequently serves as a software educational consultant to other institutions.
