Parochial School Support Services at Alexian Brothers Health System Mission Integration

About Us

Our licensed social workers and counselors assist children in parochial schools who are struggling with academic or social issues. The type of assistance is determined by the child's needs and may include individual counseling with the child at school, participating in school staff meetings and/or facilitating family consultations. For example, if your child needs special testing that the parochial school does not provide, a social worker will set up and follow the progress of your child's testing. The school social worker acts as liaison between the parochial school, your family and outside services to ensure that your child's needs are met in an appropriate and timely manner.
