Marriage and Family Therapy Training at Alexian Brothers Health System Mission Integration
About Us
Marriage and Family Therapy Training is a two-year program designed for Master's and Doctoral level students. Trainees deliver counseling services to the community while under the direct supervision of a licensed marriage and family therapist. This training is ideally suited for students seeking membership in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). A diploma from Graduate Theological Foundation (GTF) in South Bend, Indiana is awarded to graduates of the program upon completion.
Trainees in the Marriage and Family Therapy Training enable Interfaith Parish Support Services to offer their marriage and family counseling services at affordable cost to all, regardless of income level.
A number of workshops are available to members of the community throughout the year on topics such as grief recovery, conflict resolution, leadership, end-of-life issues and forgiveness.
