When there is much to be done, every little bit of help makes a difference. And we are in need of your help! There are many volunteer opportunities available at The Cancer Institute at Alexian Brothers Hospital Network. These volunteer opportunities include:

Hospitality/Concierge Volunteers

• Greet guests at the door and assist them in reaching their desired destination
• Answer Cancer Institute phone
• Make appointments for boutique
• Make appointment for support services programs
• Keep chapel clean and organized

Library Volunteers

• Supervise library and provide assistance to guests with materials, equipment, etc.
• Restock pamphlets and straighten books
• Make follow-up calls to lendees regarding due dates
• Maintain the CancerHelp computer, a touch screen computer with updated education information from the National Cancer Institute
• Greet guests and tally number of visitors
• Assist visitors in researching topics and finding resources

Special Projects Volunteers

• Assist at special events
• Help on large projects
• Cover shifts in all areas for absent volunteers
