The Cancer Institute at Alexian Brothers Hospital Network offers a CancerHelp computer program that provides free, current information and educational resources for patients, families, staff members and those in the community. Touch-screen CancerHelp computers are located at the following locations for your use:

  • Alexian Brothers Medical Center - 4th Floor inpatient oncology unit
  • The Life Enrichment Center Library - 1st Floor in The Cancer Institute at Alexian Brothers on the Elk Grove Village campus
  • St. Alexius Medical Center - 5th Floor inpatient oncology unit
  • Woodfield Mall Information Desk - 1st Floor, Schaumburg, Illinois

The program is updated monthly from the National Cancer Institute. Users can obtain valuable information about cancer, treatment options, drugs and side effects as well as watch videos on these and other topics. You can also print information right from the computer in English or in Spanish.
