Take a Harper College Class at Alexian Brothers Center for Mental Health. We are partnering with Harper College to offer college-level classes at Alexian Brothers Center for Mental Health taught by Harper College faculty.
If you want to improve your computer skills for work, school or your own personal use, this Basic Computer Skills class is for you! Topics covered will be:

Computer background-vocabulary, components, functions and uses

Getting started-start, shut down, using the keyboard and mouse, scrolling

Windows Operating System-menus, dialog boxes, moving, arranging, icons

Word processing-create, select, move, delete and manage files and folders, printing

The Internet-connect and log in, browse the web, search engines

Email and Instant messaging
Where: Alexian Brothers Center for Mental Health, 3350 Salt Creek Lane, Suite 114 in Arlington Heights. (Small group room)
When: The course will be offered from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. one night per week (Tuesday) for 8 weeks. Classes will start on September 21, 2010 and end on November 9, 2010.
