"I completed my post doctoral training in 2007 and have been practicing since then. My specialty is in grief and loss, however, I work with many individuals suffering from depression and anxiety related disorders. I believe that working with emotions and their effects on thoughts and behaviors is crucial in successful therapy. I work with my clients to develop awareness and insight regarding their emotions and help them learn how their emotions impact their symptoms and coping styles. With a greater level of emotional awareness, clients are able to process and manage their emotions more effectively, allowing for a greater sense of autonomy and satisfaction in life."
