Chaplain and Chapel at Alexian Brothers Medical Center
Maddalena and Charles Pastika Memorial Chapel of the Immaculate Conception is located on the hospital's ground and features the altar, refurbished organ and religious statues and artifacts from the hospital's old first-floor chapel, which was demolished to make way for a connecting corridor between the existing hospital building and a new bed tower now under construction. The new chapel, which is open 24/7 and includes seating for 120 people, faces Biesterfield Road on the south side of the Alexian Brothers Medical Center campus in Elk Grove Village.
A prayer garden will be located immediately east of the chapel. Visitors will be able to enter the garden from the chapel. The focal point of the garden will be the dome and cross from the top of the former Alexian Brothers Novitiate building in Gresham, WI.
Chaplain services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week via the hospital's main switchboard. For more information visit Center for Spiritual Care at Alexian Brothers Medical Center.
