Alexian Brothers Pathway to Freedom Smoking Cessation

Alexian Brothers Pathway to Freedom is a program built on evidenced-based research in order to give our community members the best chance at being smoke-free. Smoking cessation products will be available to those who follow the Alexian Brothers Pathway to Freedom. This includes attending the Alexian Brothers Pathway to Freedom class, calling the Illinois Quit Line as recommended for counseling, and picking up your smoking cessation product on a weekly basis at the Alexian Brothers Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy.

Smoking cessation products require a prescription from the participant's physician, even if the medication or nicotine replacement product you are using can be purchased over-the-counter. Products will be available on a weekly basis to those who adhere to the guidelines as introduced in the class. If a participant fails to comply with the recommendations of the course, the smoking cessation product will not be made available.
