Evening & Weekend Program for Eating Disorders
The Center for Eating Disorders at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital is pleased to offer an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with evening and weekend hours. The program offers support for adults who struggle with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, compulsive or emotional over-eating, or binge-eating, and strives to improve one's self-esteem, relationships, management of emotions, and overall health and well-being.
This program offers individuals a wide range of groups that provide the opportunity to learn, practice, and strengthen skills necessary to overcome an eating disorder, while continuing to be an active participant in daily life activities including work, school, and other personal matters. Process groups emphasize identifying and tracking moods, establishing goals, and exploring relevant issues that may directly or indirectly impact the individual's eating disorder. Registered dietitians will provide weekly nutrition groups and meal consultation on an as needed basis.
