Child Partial Hospital Program at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital

About Us

Child Partial

Children have unique ways of coping with problems and stress in their lives. That's why it takes specially trained professionals to effectively address the developmental needs of children. The Child Partial Hospital Program at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital is dedicated to helping children between ages 6 and 12 improve coping skills and develop healthy strategies to better manage emotional and behavioral problems.

As part of our day program, your child participates in structured therapeutic activities that include counseling and education to improve self-awareness, manage emotions and behavior, and learn new skills to enhance family communication. We are able to tailor your child's therapeutic program to his or her needs because of other specialized clinical services offered in our facility such as treatment of anxiety, school refusal, eating disorders, and self-injury.
