Adolescent Inpatient Program at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital 

Our Tests, Treatments & Therapies 

The daily programming of the Adolescent Inpatient Program offers teenagers the opportunity to participate in therapeutic groups created to promote self-awareness and recovery from an emotional illness. We offer the following groups:

  • Goal Setting Group helps develop personal goals for each day.
  • Relapse Prevention Group offers strategies to avoid returning to substance use.
  • Spiritual Care Group addresses spiritual questions or concerns. Teens can also attend an optional worship service during this time.
  • Art and Movement Therapy Group encourages creative expression of emotion.
  • Healthy Eating Habits Group helps develop lifestyle habits for making sound nutritional choices.
  • Medication Compliance Group teaches participants about the medications they are taking.
  • Therapeutic Assignments Group encourages the practice of new skills.
  • Grief & Loss Group supports teens grieving from significant losses.
  • Depression Group offers support and coping skills to adolescents with depression.
  • Psychoeducation Group discusses emotional responses to problems, relapse prevention, and coping skills.
