Tests, Treatments, and Therapies at the Adolescent Partial Hospital Program and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program
The Adolescent Partial Hospital Program and the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program promote positive coping skills and healthy choices through interaction in specially designed therapeutic groups. These groups offer teenagers the opportunity to discuss their concerns and make connections between their thoughts, feelings and actions. They are able to practice the skills they have learned while receiving feedback and support from a trained counselor. These interactive groups include:
- Family Therapy
- Addiction Group
- Anger Management
- Communication Skills Group
- Nutrition Group
- Spirituality Group
- Art Therapy
- Movement Therapy
If your teen is struggling with an eating disorder, self-injury, or chemical dependency, we also offer specialized therapy groups that specifically address these issues.
School Liaison
Our treatment approach also includes working with your adolescent's school, the parent(s) and other outside resources to best identify and meet your child's unique needs. Our school liaison and educational staff will work with your adolescent on issues such as:
- Returning to school
- Problem solving
- Time management
- Study skills
- Regulating moods such as depression and irritability
- Goal planning
