Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital Celebrates 10 Years on the Hoffman Estates Campus

Prior to 1999, Psychiatry was just a “department” within our health system - a part of the service delivery makeup at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.   During that year, the property at 1650 Moon Lake Boulevard became available, so the Brothers purchased the property along with the medical/surgical hospital which is now St. Alexius Medical Center.  We immediately started serving a small number of clients at that time. 

During the past 10 years, we’ve grown into a comprehensive behavioral health service provider with a variety of programs and services available to not only the local community, but to regional and national communities as well.   We’ve served thousands of individuals and families in need. We are proud of our outcome studies which demonstrate that those in our care see overall improvement in their physical and emotional well-being.
