We all have questions about the H1N1 Virus. That's why the State of Illinois set up a hotline to answer all of your questions! You can call 1-866-331-9191 between 7:00 am until 10:00 pm seven days a week.

There are also many resources on the web. The Illinois Department of Public Health, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention both have resources devoted to keeping their information up to date and relevent.

Because this is a brand new strain of flu, if you received a flu shot earlier in the year you are not protected from the H1N1 strain, so preventative measures are very important. (Note: You cannot get Swine Flu from eating pork products.
