Sanjay Yadla, M.D., M.P.H

Sanjay Yadla, M.D. has joined the Alexian Brothers Neurosciences Institute to provide services to our patients with routine or complex cranial and spinal pathologies.  After graduating from the NYU School of Medicine, he completed his residency and chief residency in neurological surgery at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  While there, he received world-class training in complex spine surgery, brain tumors, and neurovascular diseases.

During his training, Dr. Yadla conducted research on identifying proteins involved in the inflammatory response to degenerative disc disease of the lumbar spine.  He has published over thirty articles in peer-reviewed journals including Neurosurgery, Spine, Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine, World Neurosurgery, and The Spine Journal.  He has written on numerous topics ranging from surgical techniques to postoperative morbidity and health socioeconomics.  Dr. Yadla has presented his research at multiple conferences in poster and lecture formats at the national level.

Dr. Yadla's compassionate approach to medicine utilizes modern techniques including microscopic, stereotactic and minimally invasive procedures to minimize recovery times and allow patients to achieve their best possible outcomes.
