Philosophy

The care of breast problems and especially breast cancer  has evolved considerably over the past 20 years. Our basic goal is to provide state-of-the-art, comprehensive breast care in a coordinated fashion. Unique to our design is our ability to rapidly provide answers to breast problems.  This is accomplished by complete evaluation of patients referred for a breast problem, including comprehensive imaging, surgical evaluation and biopsy, usually, on the same visit. This greatly reduces the time required to bring a breast problem to resolution. In this process, patient anxiety is significantly reduced and treatment is expedited. In addition, a major emphasis is placed on patient education which is increasingly important as the breast cancer knowledge base continually expands. Lastly, because our staff are focused on diseases of the breast, this care is given with expertise and compassion.
