I believe in providing the best possible care to my patients and in order to do that it is imperative to stay on the cutting-edge of medicine.  I have been involved in interventional cardiology for over 30 years, and have been active in learning and delivering the latest procedures available in that field.  I have taken the role of the interventional cardiologist from its beginnings in the heart arteries to the ever expanding realms such as the carotid, aorta, kidney, and the lower extremity arteries.  I believe in order to provide the best possible options we as physicians must be able to continue to change and adapt to the latest treatments and be capable of providing them to our patients.  In order to continue to deliver quality care we must be aware of the advances in the field in which we practice and be able to explain these to our patients with confidence.  Communication between the patient and the doctor about their health and the plan of care is essential and taking the time to listen is key to that relationship.
