Philosophy

We provide treatments that are at the forefront of the tremendous advances that are taking place in electrophysiology. We have a very strong research program that’s participating in clinical trials of cutting-edge procedures, which gives us access to emerging technologies that offer better ways to treat patients. There are so many ways that we can treat arrhythmias. I take a team approach in which the patient and I make an informed decision together about how to proceed, whether its medication treatment or ablation. You have to be able to help the patient in whatever way they need to be helped. That’s why it’s essential to have open communication in terms of what is it that patients truly want or need that will help them get better. Patients appreciate that. They like the straightforwardness, rather than being left in the dark.
