The 66-bed Alexian Rehabilitation Hospital (ARH) is a state-of-the-art facility that offers inpatient services, day rehabilitation, outpatient services and specialty programs. ARH is a partnership between Alexian Brothers Health System and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), offering convenient access to the same expert care that has earned RIC the ranking of “Best Rehabilitation Hospital in America” by U.S. News & World Report every year since 1991.

Vestibular/Balance Rehabilitation
A program for individuals dealing
with disorders related to balance
and dizziness lead by formally
specialized physical therapists.
NeuroCom Smart Equitest
State-of-the-art balance testing
equipment which aids therapist's
in correct identification and
treatment of individuals with
balance deficits.
Hand Therapy
A program lead by certified hand
therapists, treating a broad range
of diagnosis from carpal tunnel
syndrome to complex
post-operative wound care.
Cognitive & Swallow Evaluations
Our Speech & Language Pathologists
assist with conditions such as coughing
when you swallow, forgetfulness and much more.
Spine & Sports Injuries
Our certified therapists are specialized in
treating spinal conditions and other
orthopedic issues, helping you get back to
your desired functional level.
Driver's Evaluation
This service is provided by
occupational therapists in conjunction
with a certified driving instructor.
Low Vision
Our specially-trained occupational
therapists provide recommendation
and adaptive equipment.
Massage Therapy
Our licensed massage therapist has
specific training in lymphatic massage,
sports massage, myofascial release and
trigger point therapy.
