Program Descriptions

 

Outpatient Therapy (OP)

  • Primarily individual and family therapy with opportunities for group
  • Age and diagnostic spectrum (child through adult)
  • Typical caseload of 10-14 clients
  • Hours flexible – typically 3 days/week, 1 night until 9pm required

 

Transitional Living Program (TLP)

  •  Small case load of clients (adults)
  • Majority of treatment in group setting with some individual therapy as well as case management services provided
  • Weekly staff meetings to process clients/programming
  • Small driving requirement for taking clients to psychiatry appointments, disability hearings, etc. (school must allow for this)
  • Very well-rounded placement
  • Daytime hours

 

Case Management (CM)

  • Primarily one-on-one level of care
  • Vast expereince with conducting mental health assessments and risk assessments, individual therapy opportunities available
  • Assist clients to locate and utilize community resources to improve functioning or transition from more restrictive setting (such as hospital or residential placement)
  • Participate in assisting clients to obtain benefits such as disability or Medicaid insurance
  • Flexible day or evening hours
  • Driving ability a plus but not required

 

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

This program provides comprehensive treatment for individuals stepping down from an inpatient setting or for those who wish to avoid hospitalization, or those requiring closer monitoring due to recent psychotropic medication or life changes.

  • Clients ages 18 and older, average 2-4 weeks in program
  • Daytime hours
  • Primarily group-based treatrment
  • Small caseload of clients with opportunity for individual therapy
  • Vast expereince with conducting mental health assessments and risk assessments

 

Psycho-social Rehabilitation Program (PSR)

This program is designed to improve functioning in adults (age 18 or over) with a mood, anxiety or psychotic disorder through group and individual treatment.

  • Small caseload (5-7 clients) but work with 40+ clients through groups
  • Facilitate and develop curriculum for groups and participate in planning the type of groups offered, currently about 26 different groups offered each week
  • Day hours – Groups are available 9:00-3:00 M-F; plus Tuesday 3:00-6:00 and Saturday 10:00-1:00.  You must be available Tuesday from 8:30 to 6:00.  Some Saturdays are also required.
